Enshore Subsea has secured an inter-array trenching contract with Seaway7 for an offshore wind farm located off the coast of the United States.
The project will see Enshore Subsea deploy the T3200 hard ground trencher which recently rejoined its asset fleet. The 3200hp vehicle is a high-powered hybrid trencher capable of operating in cutting or jetting mode dependant on ground conditions, with the ability to switch modes whilst trenching.
Seaway7 is a global leader in the delivery of offshore wind projects. Seaway7 is contracted by the end client for the transport and installation of inter-array cables and associated scopes.
Pierre Boyde, Enshore Subsea Managing Director, said: “We’re delighted to be supporting Seaway7 with the project with our T3200 and crew, and playing our role in providing clean, sustainable energy to homes in the US.”
